Ever wondered what a great gift solitude is ..... friends,wife,kids,family are great companiens but solitude is one friend that would never leave you .you find him every where....here is for the all the solitary reapers out there from the wordsworth...
Behold her, single in the field,
Yon solitary Highland Lass!
Reaping and singing by herself;
Stop here, or gently pass!
Alone she cuts and binds the grain,
And sings a melancholy strain;
O listen! for the Vale profound
Is overflowing with the sound.
No Nightingale did ever chaunt
More welcome notes to weary bands
Of travellers in some shady haunt,
Among Arabian sands:
A voice so thrilling ne'er was heard
In spring-time from the Cuckoo-bird,
Breaking the silence of the seas
Among the farthest Hebrides.
Will no one tell me what she sings?--
Perhaps the plaintive numbers flow
For old, unhappy, far-off things,
And battles long ago:
Or is it some more humble lay,
Familiar matter of to-day?
Some natural sorrow, loss, or pain,
That has been, and may be again?
Whate'er the theme, the Maiden sang
As if her song could have no ending;
I saw her singing at her work,
And o'er the sickle bending;--
I listened, motionless and still;
And, as I mounted up the hill
The music in my heart I bore,
Long after it was heard no more.

Music...Larry and the Protests outside the office
The day started and i found myself transformed from a woken up dung beatle with a scattered hair into this funky office going dude....i put on my iPod and bang came Turn the Page ,Garage Inc ,metallica ....it nicw to hear james hetfield sing "on a long and lonesome highway..." yes it applies to me ...i was on a long and lonesome highway ...i have felt so since i came over to basel on this assignment ...the thoughts went heywire as my looks finally settled down on this pretty swiss lady .....she was kinda cute ...not that uncommon in basel ...i mean almost everone i see here is quite pretty .....but this women was indeed a lil cuter than the one i saw at the bus stop ...see i need some thing to think about in the lil over 10 min journey to work .Badischer Banhoff....up came the announcement ....and i had to get down and drag the feet of an active mind and un-willing body to the work desk ....
Guter morgan ...greeted a very thick voice ...instantly i searched for a human being to associate that voice with ..i found this fine gentleman may be in his ealry 40s or late 30s who repeated .."aah god morning " ...."good morning larry" i replied ....
i had met larry yesterday ...we usually dont get to see lot of Americans in Basel ...he was a regular American with strong western american accent.Was a nice guy to talk to ...and boyy...was he was die hard metal fan ...he mentioned he was omaha in nebraska. i wondered..does any one care about the dakotas and the states like nebraska.i only hear about the east coast or the west coast and silicon valley when i hear about US of A from my friends ....talking about nebraska i told him that the place sounded more familiar coz iam a great fan of the metallica song "Turn the page" ....it goes like " on the long and lonesome highway ..east of omaha" .....incidently he told me that it happens to be his favourite song as its originally from Bob seger....his favourite singer ...i wonder how music can give you good friends and all...so we got to speak a bit about America the people, the little know states of the US and culture ...more or less the not so dumb stuff.....
